We are searching for an Operations Coordinator. 

Job Overview: As Operations Coordinator, the selected individual will play crucial roles in both the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and the Tahlequah Regional Development Authority (TRDA). This position will assist local businesses and TACC members by providing a range of opportunities for networking, growth, and support. This position will play a role in marketing, event planning, and membership support as needed. This candidate will be responsible for many functions of the day-to-day operations of TACC and TRDA and supporting other staff in their duties. A candidate who is proactive and passionate about Tahlequah and the future of this community is required.

To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should also be strong organizers, with high attention to detail. You should be able to manage your time to complete tasks with minimal supervision. You should be resourceful, creative, innovative, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build strong relationships with citizens and businesses.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create and maintain the Chamber Chat newsletter, as well as lists for required email campaigns.

• Maintain TRDA and TACC websites and create fresh, new content for return visitors.

• Attend all TRDA and TACC Board Meetings to take and write minutes.

• Maintain membership information in CRM Software.

• Plan, organize, and host events for entrepreneur and small business support in the community.

• Upkeep TACC offices and Lobby for member use.

• Maintain and create communication formats for TACC Board and members.

• Create and implement social media marketing for TRDA.

• Support existing staff in marketing, membership, and events.

• Other duties or tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent; Some college preferred but not required

• Exceptional Verbal and Written communication skills including clearly conveying ideas, thoughts, and plans during meetings and presentations

• Creative and Innovative in problem solving

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
