Partners in Prosperity: Go Ye Village

Members of the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce since 1981, Go Ye Village has been serving the chamber and its community for over 40 years. With four decades of being a faith-based ministry providing housing and other services, they are eastern Oklahoma’s largest non-for-profit provider. They provide different opportunities for those seeking independent or assisted living, long term care, a senior community, and more. They strive to make their services affordable, accessible, and geared toward serving others. 

Part of serving their community comes with sponsoring events with the TACC that provides the rest of the community with the opportunity to hear from our State Representatives and Senators, called Legislative Briefings. At these events, also hosted at Go Ye Village, people have the chance to ask questions and listen to some of the things they are up to at the State Capitol. Being Presenting Sponsor of Government Affairs plays a vital role for them in making sure their community members feel included and heard. 

They also took on roles as a Host Sponsor for the November Monthly Mingle, and a Table Sponsor for State of the Community. With the Monthly Mingle event, they were able to host one of the events where members come together the first Friday of each month to start off their months together and get in lots of networking. As State of the Community sponsors, they are continuing the growth of their town by supporting the meeting of getting to share where we are at as a community and where we’re going.
