Membership Spotlight: The Legacy at MK Ranch

The Legacy is a wedding and event venue located on MK Ranch right outside of Tahlequah city limits. Although it is just minutes from town, the property is secluded and makes you feel as if you are away from the hustle and bustle. With more than 50 windows, it brings the outside in creating a warm and inviting feel. It is spacious with over 8,500 square feet, but yet you feel grounded with all the natural light, neutral colors, iron railings and wood tones. The Legacy embodies a farmhouse elegance with a modern spin. 

Not only is The Legacy an exceptional venue, but they are also heavily involved in the community. The Legacy has hosted Governor Stitt at our venue so locals could meet him and hear what his plans were moving forward. Local schools also receive a discount for their events, such as prom. When the Red Fern Festival comes around, The Legacy will most definitely participate. Aside from community events such as these, The Legacy is also involved in the Chamber, especially through Women in Business. 

The Legacy at MK Ranch is a woman owned and operated business. Kelly Marak is a Tahlequah community member who has put so much into her business. The Legacy at MK Ranch was recently named Small Business of the Quarter for the Chamber of Commerce’s first quarter of the year. This award allows The Legacy at MK Ranch to be in the running for Small Business of the Year at TACC’s Annual Banquet.
