At Tahlequah City Hospital, we are fortunate to have a staff of extremely competent and caring individuals who are devoted to meeting your healthcare needs.

In the last nine decades, TCH has grown from a nine-bed facility with three physicians to a 100-bed facility with more than 40 physicians in numerous specialties. By providing high-quality care and advanced services, TCH has grown to a regional healthcare provider.

Patients at TCH frequently hear that TCH CARES. CARES is our reminder to consistently offer Courtesy, Accountability, Respect, Efficiency and Safety. CARES is more than a catchy acronym, it is a philosophy that describes the dedication of our physicians, employees and volunteers in caring for you during your time of need.

The directors, staff, physicians and volunteers at Tahlequah City Hospital are committed to providing quality medical service to the patients we serve. In Northeast Oklahoma, heart disease, diabetes and cancer are enormous concerns plaguing our neighbors. In response to these community needs, we offer many specialized services not frequently found in a rural hospital.

In 2004 we opened Northeast Oklahoma Heart Center to address the growing demand for cardiology services. Through a partnership with renowned cardiologist, George Cohlmia, M.D., the heart center at TCH offers a full spectrum of cardiology services from cardiac catheterization and open heart surgery to cardiac rehabilitation.

In 2008 we addressed the diabetic needs of the community by offering in-patient dialysis with the addition of Nephrologist James Madison, D.O. Dr. Madison’s skill has turned our partnering outpatient dialysis center into one of the better facilities in the state. In 2009, we continued our diabetic services by adding hyperbaric and wound care treatment through Northeast Oklahoma Wound Care Center with Daniel Murphy, M.D.

Also in 2008, we partnered with Daniel Murphy, M.D., Lawrence Cibula, M.D., and Muskogee Regional Medical Center to create Northeast Oklahoma Cancer Center. This center offers radiation oncology and chemotherapy with state-of-the-art equipment to our community.

At Tahlequah City Hospital we are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare services locally for our community, county and region, however, it is the personalized care patients receive from our experienced and dedicated team of physicians, nurses and clinicians that makes TCH truly special.
